JULY COMPETITIONS!!

Themes for the first competition: Short Stories: This month's Short stories must all be about "firsts" (a first experience or a first success at a trial often undertaken as examples). Stories must be between 800 and 1000 words.

Poems: This month we are looking for poems no longer than twenty lines with a nature theme within the genre. (for example: a sci-fi poem about flora and fauna on an alien planet)

As this is a first issue, no multiple submissions in any genre please. You can send one story or poem for as many different genres as you like.

• Our first competition will be held in June, 2010. Please submit all stories and poems no later than June 20th. The winning stories and poems will be published in the first issue of Flight of Fancy in July, 2010.
